Website Vitals

This Article is For:

  • All users who have the 'Manage Website Settings' permission
  • This is applicable to: all SoCast Themes

These are the instruction for setting up your website's vitals.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Website Name: The Name of your website (Ex. Radio ABC)
  2. Website Domain: Before your website is launched, this will be filled in automatically with a preview domain provided by SoCast. When you're ready to launch your website, remove the preview domain and fill it in with your station's domain. (Ex. www.domain.com)
  3. Website Preview URL : The preview URL is used to view your website before it goes live on your website domain
  4. Website Redirect: Redirect domains are used to redirect other domains to your website domain (i.e. domain.com , www.domain.com , beta.domain.com , www.olddomain.com )
  5. City: Add the city for that station/office
  6. Description: Used for SEO purposes. Description of this account. (Ex: RadioABC is a rock station in City name, Country)
  7. Keywords: Used for SEO purposes. Keywords or tags you wish to identify with your site when being searched
  8. Custom Meta Tags: Appears inside the <head> tag. To help with customization you can insert any of the macro templates.
  9. Custom Header HTML: Enter custom HTML for your website’s header. To help with customization you can insert any of the macro templates.
  10. Custom Footer HTML : Enter custom HTML for your website’s footer. To help with customization you can insert any of the macro templates.
  11. Custom Fields : Define custom fields that can be specified on any page and used in the website's custom header HTML, custom footer HTML, and ad codes
