Syndicated Blog Categories

This Article Is For:

  1. Company Admins or designated person with the ‘Manage Syndication Settings’ permission

The blog syndication tool is separate and different from the RSS Subscription Settings.

This tool is meant for a centralized work-flow. For example, you’re from a large broadcast company and will be sharing/syndicating content from 1 website/station to all other websites/stations.


Syndication Notes:

  • Syndicated version automatically updates from the original

  • Syndicated version cannot be edited or deleted (can be hidden)

  • Custom HTML and some widgets are synced from the original

  • Side bar and sticky blog post display cannot be synced from the original blog posts, and will need to be configured separately in the account destination(s)


Instructions:

To use this feature, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to Website > Syndicated Blog Categories

  2. Click the ‘Syndicate New’ button

  3. Blog Category Selection : Select one or more blog categories to syndicate to the account destination(s) selected below.

  4. Blog Category : search or select a blog category to syndicate

  5. Blog Categories To Syndicate : Manage the selected blog categories to syndicate.

  6. Account Destinations : Select the account(s)/stations within this company to syndicate the selected blog categories to.

    Click the 'Syndicate' button
