How Do I Invite SoCast To Be An Admin On My Apple and Google Play Developer Accounts?

In order to deliver your Mobile Test Apps, you'll need to link "socastadmin@socastsrm.com" to 3 accounts: Apple Developer, iTunes, and Google Play.

We do this so SoCast can manage your apps and avoid having to use your own credentials.

Apple Developer Account

  1. If the account is of type "Individual", we cannot link your account.
    • You will need to provide your login to SoCast
  2. If the account is of type "Organization", we can link.
    1. Login to your Apple Developer account.
    2. On the left toolbar or on the main content, you should see "People".
    3. Click "People". The page becomes
    4. Click "Invite People".
    5. Invite "socastadmin@socastsrm.com" as an Admin user
    6. The SoCast Admin Email account will receive an email and we will accept the invitation.

iTunes Connect Account

  1. Login to iTunes Connect, click "Users and Roles".
  2. Click add a new iTunes Connect user
  3. Give SoCast either "Admin" or "App Manager" role. This role should be for ALL apps
  4. SoCast will receive an email and will accept the invitation.

Google Play Developer

  1. After login, proceed to Settings > User accounts & rights
  2. Click "Invite new user". The new user should have "Administrator" or "Release Manager" role. Expiry should be "never". Permissions should be "GLOBAL".
  3. SoCast will receive an email and will accept the invitation.
