Step-by-step guide

  1. Start by configuring a new smart stream that monitors your competitors account. For instructions on how to create a smart stream please see: How Do I Create A Smart Stream?
  2. If you only want to see tweets by your competitor, don’t forget to add their handle in the “By” field in the “Users” section.
  3. Find out who the influencers are that engage with the brand you are monitoring and create a strategy to convert them to your own brand/streams.
  4. Find out which posts are considered highly engaging by your competition’s followers and use that to create your own successful social media strategy.
  5. Observe the sentiment analysis for each post to discover what your competition’s followers like or dislike about their posting strategy.
