Floating Sharing Buttons

This Article Is For:

  1. All users who have the 'Manage Website Settings' permission
  2. This is applicable to the SoCast 2.0 Theme and Hero 1.0 Theme
These are the instructions for setting up your floating social sharing buttons. These buttons 'float' to the left or right of the screen.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to: http://admin.socastsrm.com/website/sharing
  2. Scroll to: Floating Sharing Buttons
  3. Enable Floating Sharing Buttons : Using the drop-down to choose to enable or disable the floating buttons
  4. Button Alignment : Choose which side of the screen you would like the buttons to appear. Choose 1of the following:
    1. Left
    2. Right
  5. Attach To Website Frame : Choose 1 of the following options:
    1. Yes : Choosing 'yes' sticks the floating buttons to the inner sides of the page



    2. No : Choosing 'no' sticks the floating buttons to the outside of the page


  6. Button Theme : The button theme customizes the appearance of the arrow button on the bottom that appears on hover to show or hide the floating buttons. Choose 1 of the following options:
    1. Transparent
    2. Light
    3. Gray
    4. Dark

  7. Enable Floating Buttons On Mobile Site : The floating buttons appear at the bottom of the mobile site where the mobile banner is displayed, if used. Choose to enable or disable the floating buttons for mobile
  8. Click the 'save' button
